Description:

• Complete bi-weekly payroll processing with timely approval of Payroll Preview in ADP Workforcenow (WFN).
• Enter and verify accuracy of employee changes in direct deposit and tax forms on a timely basis with each payroll.
• Enter employee garnishments ADP WFN and verify accuracy of deductions generated by ADP WGPS.
• Verify ADP WFN tax rates are correct and up-to date with current IRS requirements.
• Deliver in-person presentation for new hires at monthly New Employee Orientation event.
• Register hourly employees on ADP timekeeping device at New Employee Orientation or other intervals as needed.
• Input new hire records for Time & Attendance, Time Off, W4 and Direct Deposit forms.
• Maintain employee data in ADP time and attendance. Manage the installation and operation of timekeeping devices.
• Create upload templates to HR for non-scheduled deductions and additional compensation plans.
• Partner with Human Resources department to implement new earnings and deduction programs in ADP WFN. Collaborate to develop process improvements.
• Serve as primary payroll contact with ADP WFN Client Account Manager to maintain process schedule, to add new earnings, taxes, deductions as necessary, and open Support Requests in ADP WFN Service Connect.
• Develop and maintain payroll related procedures and training guides.
• Train management on ADP Time & Attendance and Time Off functionality. Be a resource for management on reports, such as overtime.
• Maintain payroll-related forms and job aids on ADP WFN employee portal and communicate updates to employees.
• Provide wage payment information for workers compensation claims on third party websites as requested by HR.
• Maintain and provide all information required for annual projects: Including but not limited to worker’s compensation policy annual audit and renewal, Form 990 preparation, 403b audits, interim and year-end financial audits.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVE:

• BA degree + 3-5 years payroll processing
• If no degree must have 7+ years payroll processing
• Volume- ~500 employees
• ADP experience
• Microsoft Excel- drop data, filter, sort.
• Multistate- experience on ~20 states
• General understanding of federal and state payroll laws

NICE TO HAVE:

• Manufacturing/Warehouse industry- experience with shift differential in payroll
• Process improvement within payroll
