- [Instructor] There are many times when we'll need to model or create symmetrical objects. And one way to do this is to model one side of the object and then just mirror it to create the other side. So let's take a look at how to do that. So here I have a propeller and I want to create the other side, and I want to attach it all as one propeller assembly. Well, the first thing you want to do is, you want to make sure that you have everything lined up so that you can mirror it. So in this case, I've got this propeller, and if I hit W to move, you'll see that the pivot point is kind of in the middle of that propeller. So I need to get it towards the center. So I'm just going to tap my space bar, hop out to a four view and find my front view. So I'm going to tap again, and then all I have to do is hold down the letter D and that allows me to move my pivot, and I'm just going to center that to that propeller assembly.
